MASTER CLASSES
Devising Performance
Lead by Dora Arreola
This master class focuses on the process for devising and developing a dance-theatre piece. Arreola's process begins with the creation of raw material created from physical or verbal responses to prompts and improvisations to develop a physical vocabulary. This vocabulary becomes the seed for physical actions, which become elements of movement compositions. These movements, leading to the development of a structure for solo performance/choreography or ensemble piece.
